The real 37

Gal 3:7  Know then that it is those of faith who are the sons of Abraham.

It really is that simple.

I’ve been getting a bit twisted up with hyper-dispenationalism versus covenant theology. I did notice that things started to go rather wrong in the spirit the more I pondered hyper-dispensationism.

By far the most important thing for us in this present dispensation of grace is that we are rooted in the simple basics of faith as galatians 3:7 states. That is our covenental starting block.
Now, yes, there is this mystery:-

Eph 3:4  When you read this, you can perceive my insight into the mystery of Christ,
Eph 3:5  which was not made known to the sons of men in other generations as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit.
Eph 3:6  This mystery is that the Gentiles are fellow heirs, members of the same body, and partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel.

and this mystery:-

Col 1:24  Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh I am filling up what is lacking in Christ’s afflictions for the sake of his body, that is, the church,
Col 1:25  of which I became a minister according to the stewardship from God that was given to me for you, to make the word of God fully known,
Col 1:26  the mystery hidden for ages and generations but now revealed to his saints.
Col 1:27  To them God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

I think I am going to give hyper-dispensationalism the order of the boot. Far from the Church being some separate entity from Israel, quite the opposite, we are part of the same body.

We should remember what has been revealed to us when things get a little scary sometimes:-

“this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory”.

Believer, you are completely different to unbelievers.
